There is a quote from the movie "Trains, Planes, and automobiles" that my father used to always say. "LIke your work, love your wife." It basically means that your work should be important, but ultimately your family and loved ones should be first in your life. I think a lot of people get too consumed with money and working for things instead of taking a step back and really asking yourself why you are working. I personally work to support my wife and two children. If it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't be working as hard as I do. They give me a reason to get up every morning with a smile on my face thankful that I am a live and healthy enough to go to work to support my family. "First things are those things you, personally, find of most worth" (Covey). When I stress about work or money I am always thankful that I have a family who loves me no matter what. I am able to complete my professional goals because I have a great support system around me. It goes hand and hand.
